Beside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is Duomo di Milano, Duomo di Milano also called Milan Cathedral, it is the cathedral church of Milan, Italy. Dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent), it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola. The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the fifth-largest cathedral in the world and the largest in the Italian state territory.

Another famous attraction in Milan is the rooftop of Duomo di Milano. The roof terraces of the Milan Cathedral is constructed from Candoglia marble from Lago Maggiore, presented a unique innovation in the construction of cathedrals. The entrance is located at the behind of Duomo di Milano, you can either take the elevator to access to the roof terraces or walk by the staircase, the ticket price is cheaper by staircase but it is not a good choice if you plan to visit another place of sightseeing in the same day. You can view the city of Milan from the rooftop, and you can see the statue of Madonnina is atop Duomo di Milano.
